Maintaining a colony of Dermestid Beetles:
I've had my colony of Dermestid Beetles for just a couple of weeks now. Of course, no pictures have been taken...not even of me building their enclosure. (Okay, building is a bit of an exaggeration). A number of larvae can be found throughout the enclosure, along with a good number of wee little guys scurrying about their kibble. I introduced a larger specimen for them to work on, it's only taken them four days to realize it's there and are exploring it now. I suspect that before the year is through, I'll be erecting a larger enclosure for them.
